We own the Arnaud Railway facilities and equipment. The rail line bypasses the Baie des Sept-Îles between the branch line of the QNS&L Arnaud Junction railway and the dock of La Relance / railcar ferry landing pier (Port of Sept-Îles). The SFP Pointe-Noire is thus able to connect Northern Québec and Labrador to the continental rail network.
Consequently, we can transit all material coming from or destined to Northern Québec and Labrador. Moreover, our network serves the three docks of the Sept-Îles Port Authority, the fuel farm, the bulk storage yard, and the SFP Pointe-Noire’s railway equipment maintenance workshops.
Our 286 000 lb / wagon graded railway line, high-quality equipment, comprehensive maintenance capacity and qualified staff ensure diligent, safe transportation service.
We also possess mobile and stationary equipment to operate and maintain our railway and the requisite infrastructure to maintain our customers’ railway equipment.
